As directional lighting product, track lights are featured the ability to move along the track, and the adjustable irradiation angle. Generally speaking, track lights are used in Commercial application, such as shopping malls (clothing stores, furniture stores and other brand stores), car show, jewelry exhibition, star hotel, high-end clubs, museums and galleries, showcase and other accent lighting places.
With the continuous advances in LED lighting technology, track lights on the market of halogen and metal halide light sources are gradually being replaced by LED light sources. The disadvantage of the conventional halogen track light is high heat, low light efficiency, and short life time. The light-emitting principle of metal halide is the reaction of gasified heavy metals mercury and two electrodes to produce light, although with higher luminous efficiency, energy consumption is also high, and start slow. Besides, noise, flicker and heavy radiation are also some serious shortcomings. Once broken, these lamps must be handled carefully, otherwise they may cause pollution (mercury is a heavy metal elements that harmful to human health). However, the characteristics of LED lighting make up for these deficiencies. LED track light with cold light source has no radiation, no heavy metal pollution, pure color, high luminous efficiency and low flicker. Therefore, it is an inevitable trend of widely using LED track lights.

LED track light must be installed on the matched track which comprises a conductive metal strip inside the track (made of high-quality copper, made of iron poor). There is a rotatable conductive copper tablets at the connector of the track light rotatable, by which the internal conductive metal strips can be connected to achieved powered circuit and light up the track light. Usually, there are tracks with two wire, three wire and four wire. Track length specifications are usually 1.0m, 1.5m, 2.0m. Two wire are common in China and Southeast Asia, while three wires and four wire are more popular in Europe.
The following is a new utility-type LED track lights comprising LED PAR light and the housingfixture which contains matched E27 joint (i.e. ordinary screw fittings). This track light is characterized by easily renewable light source. And people can directly replace traditional halogen with LED PAR lamps.
Below is a common integrated LED track lights which consists of aluminum housing for cooling,energy saving reflecting cup and PC cover. They are characterized in that the PCB circuit board and driver section are included in the housing bottom. The small bottom box volume makes thetrack lights installation more easier than the original lamps.
